Vietnam Re-Opens for Tourism

As of March 16 Vietnam is ready to welcome back international arrivals - awesome news for everyone in tourism in Vietnam and for all riders who have been waiting to come and cycle the country on a Velo Vietnam ride.

It’s been two years since Vietnam has welcomed international tourists, so the announced policies on international arrivals have been extremely welcome news to all in the travel industry here.

From March 16, Vietnam almost reverts to its pre-covid tourism policy, with a few fairly minor (in covid terms!) caveats.

The key differences are that those who come in must have a negative PCR test 72 hours prior to departure, or a rapid test 24 hours prior.

On arrival there will be no test and no quarantine.

This is the best re-opening news we could have hoped for.

People will need to download the covid app, but that isn’t a big issue and very few places will even ask you to scan it.

So, if you’re interested in a ride with Velo Vietnam in 2022, we can now talk about making it a reality.

LET’S RIDE!
